北京时间2023年5月30日，搭载神舟十六号载人飞船的长征二号F遥十六运载火箭在酒泉卫星发射中心点火发射，航天员乘组状态良好，发射取得圆满成功。

On May 30, 2023 (Beijing time), the spaceship, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The astronauts were in good condition and the launch was very successful.

本次神舟十六号乘组由景海鹏、朱杨柱、桂海潮3名航天员组成。其中，朱杨柱是国防科技大学培养的首位航天员，本硕博都是在长沙读的，也是我国首位非飞行员出身的职业航天员。

The crew consists of Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao. Among them, Zhu Yangzhu is the first astronaut trained by the National University of Defense Technology, he studied his undergraduate master's and doctoral degrees in Changsha, and he was also the first professional astronaut in China who did not come from a pilot background.

朱杨柱曾深情告白，“不管走多远，只要一有机会，我就想回到科大，回到长沙，这是我的第二故乡。”

 Zhu Yangzhu has once confessed his feelings towards Changsha, "No matter how far I go, as soon as I have the opportunity, I want to return to the University of Science and Technology, back to Changsha -- my second hometown."

这次出征，朱杨柱将作为我国首位航天飞行工程师，执行空间站转入应用与发展阶段的首次载人飞行任务，并在太空开展相关技术试验。朱杨柱迈出了科技人员“飞天”的第一步，这是极具象征意义的事件，未来我国将有更多的科技人员前往空间站探索浩瀚宇宙。

On this mission, Zhu Yangzhu will carry out the first crewed mission after China's space station entered the application and development stage as the first spaceflight engineer in China, and conduct technical tests in space. Zhu Yangzhu has taken the first step of scientific and technical personnel to "go into space", which is a very symbolic event, and means more scientific and technical personnel will go to the space station in the future to explore the vast universe.
