全世界每4个陶瓷杯，就有1个产自醴陵。

For every four ceramic cups in the world, one is produced in Liling, Hunan Province, China.

渌水两岸，窑火千年。这“醴”的故事细诉千年，我来讲给你听。

Kiln fires have been going on for thousands of years on both sides of the Lushui River, and so has the story of “Liling”. Now I will tell it to you.

醴陵陶瓷发轫于秦汉，清末创烧了名扬天下的釉下五彩瓷。

Liling ceramics originated in the Qin and Han dynasties and gained worldwide fame for its “underglaze multicolored porcelain” in the late Qing dynasty.

釉下五彩瓷以白如玉、明如镜、薄如纸、声如磬的独特风格，一路问鼎东方陶瓷艺术的高峰。

With its unique style of “white as jade, bright as mirror, thin as paper, and sound like chime”, underglaze multicolored porcelain has won the reputation of“the pinnacle of oriental ceramic art”.

从沩山古窑到红色官窑，从中国到世界，醴陵陶瓷以窑火燎原之势，不断发展壮大。

From Weishan Ancient Kilns to Red Official Kilns, from China to the world, Liling ceramics have continued to develop and grow like a spreading prairie fire.

陶瓷产品涵盖工业陶瓷、日用陶瓷、艺术陶瓷三大类4000多个品种。日用瓷远销150多个国家和地区、出口量居全国第一。

Ceramic products cover more than 4,000 varieties in three categories: industrial ceramics, daily-use ceramics, and art ceramics. Daily-use ceramics are exported to more than 150 countries and regions, ranking first in China in terms of export volume.
