Nie Xiaoqian is an amnesiac female spirit who longs for true love but fails to find it time and time again, during which, nevertheless, her male best friend Chi Yan, who’s also a spirit, is always by her side. One day, the broken-hearted Xiaoqian accidentally meets Wen Xuan, who is bent on death. Amidst misunderstandings and conflicts, the two of them gradually develop complicated emotions to each other. The destiny of Xiaoqian is under her grandmother’s control, but the appearance of Wen Xuan encourages Xiaoqian to question her existence and destiny. A wedding, a man, a pool of blood...where will the fate of the man and the three spirits head for?
