凤凰，因西南方有山如凤形而得名。

Community dinner is the nostalgia on the tip of the tongue and unique scenery in the mountains of Xiangxi.

由社蒿菜，腊肉，野葱，糯米组成。放入蒸笼，熏制的腊味，渗透进散发草本清香的糯米饭里。吃到嘴里，沁人心脾。

Consisting of crown daisy, bacon, spring onion and glutinous rice. Placed in the steamer, the smoked flavour seeps into the glutinous rice and gives off a fresh herbal aroma. Refreshing in the mouth.

湘西凤凰有打糍粑的习俗，挥槌打碎，揉搓成团，压扁成型，上火蒸烤。

In Fenghuang, Xiangxi, it is customary to make glutinous rice cake, breaking it with a mallet, kneading it into a ball, flattening it into a shape, and steaming it on the fire.

它柔软含蓄，是凤凰的冬日特色，寓和美、团圆之意，也成就了湘西人的味觉记忆。

It is soft and subtle, a winter characteristic of Fenghuang, signifying harmony and reunion, and also fulfilling the taste memories of Xiangxinese.

名声在外的血粑鸭是众多游客喜爱的美味，热油爆香大料，大火烧鸭，拌入血粑。

The famous dishes duck with blood rice cake is a favourite delicacy of many tourists. Hot oil to explode the spices, and the duck is roasted over a high flame and mixed with the blood rice cake together.

每一块鸭肉都被油脂裹挟，血粑脆嫩兼备，香气扑鼻。即便食欲低迷，胃口也会被瞬间激活。
