8月19日，2023年中国桨板超级联赛暨第二届天子湖桨板公开赛在邵阳县天子湖国家湿地公园举行，来自全国各地的1000余名桨板运动员相约如诗如画天子湖。此次赛事以“逐浪天子湖·争锋桨板赛”为主题。

On August 19, the 2023 China Paddle Broad Super League and the 2nd Tianzi Lake Paddle Board Open were held in Tianzi Lake National Wetland Park, Shaoyang County, Hunan Province. More than 1,000 paddle board athletes from all over the country met in the picturesque Tianzi Lake. The theme of this event is “Chasing the waves in Tianzi Lake - Struggling Paddle Board Race”.

2022年，邵阳县成功举办了中国桨板黄金联赛暨第一届天子湖桨板公开赛。2023年，天子湖桨板公开赛正式升级为中国桨板超级联赛，跻身国家最高水准的桨板赛事行列。

In 2022, Shaoyang successfully hosted the China Paddle Board Golden League and the first Tianzi Lake Paddle Board Open. In 2023, the Tianzi Lake Open will be officially upgraded to the China Board Paddle Super League, ranking among the highest-level paddle board events in the country.

赛事的成功举办，对于推动邵阳桨板运动发展，加快推进“国家水上国民休闲运动中心”建设，打造驰名中外桨板水上运动之都，构建一流国民休闲体育之城，加速形成水上运动产业集聚与相关产业融合发展全国示范区，助力邵阳县体育、文化和旅游产业相融合，带动邵阳“体育+旅游”融合发展，都具有十分重要的意义。

The successful holding of the event will promote the development of paddle board sports in Shaoyang, accelerate the construction of the “National Water Leisure Sports Center”, build a well-known paddle board water sports capital at the home and abroad, build a first-class national leisure sports city, and accelerate the formation of water sports industry clusters and it is of great significance to integrate and develop the national demonstration zone of related industries, help the integration of sports, culture and tourism industries in Shaoyang ,and promote the integrated development of “sport and tourism” in Shaoyang.
