湖南浏阳市淳口镇山田新村首次种植的巨型水稻接近2米，比一般的男性还要高出一头。

风吹稻香，金波滚滚。9月17日，中国农民丰收节来临之际，长沙浏阳市淳口镇山田新村，首次种植的20亩巨型水稻喜获丰收。

丰收现场，不仅有忙碌的村干部和村民，还有20余名前来体验农耕文化的学生代表。大家一起体验老式农耕割禾、打谷、扎草捆、抓鱼等趣味活动，让袁隆平的“禾下乘凉梦”照进现实。

该巨型水稻田亩产达1500斤，产量比一般的水稻高400斤左右，最高的水稻已超过2米，稻穗长达30多厘米，有效颗粒有460粒。

The giant rice field yields up to 750 kilograms per mu (about 0.067 hectares), which is about 200 kilograms higher than the average rice yield. And with an average height of more than 2 meters, the spike length reached over 30 centimeters, with more than 400 effective grain particles.
