On January 3, the general meeting of Zhuzhou Overseas Chinese Merchants Federation was held.

Zhuang Qining, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Overseas Chinese Federation and Chairman of the Hunan Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and Jiang Xianghui, Vice Mayor, attended the event.

Since its establishment in 2017, Zhuzhou Overseas Chinese Merchants Federation has closely followed the theme of "overseas Chinese" and "merchants", centering on the city's overall situation, actively served member enterprises to settle down and invested in Zhuzhou. Over the past five years, it has organized members to participate in more than 20 kinds of investment promotion activities, and more than 2,000 overseas Chinese businessmen have taken part in them. According to the preliminary statistics, the member enterprises of the Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce have invested more than 100 billion yuan in Zhuzhou in the past five years, becoming a new force in attracting investment in Zhuzhou. At the same time, all members of Zhuzhou Overseas Chinese Merchants Federation gave full play to the excellent tradition of overseas Chinese businessmen "caring for the motherland and contributingto the hometown", and donated more than 20 million yuan to public welfare undertakings.

Zhuang Qining sent a message to Zhuzhou Overseas Chinese Merchants Federation to uphold the purpose of "fellowship, service, cooperation and development", actively serve the local economic and social development, create an important platform for the exchange and cooperation of overseas Chinese businessmen, and build an important bridge for the communication between the government and overseas Chinese businesses.
