What is CPPCC?

CPPCC, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is apatriotic united front organization of the Chinese people, serving as a key mechanism for multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It is an important form of promoting socialist democracy in our political life. The two main themes of the CPPCC are unity and democracy.

Among them, the members of the CPPCC are the main body of the organization. Their main functions are political consultation, democratic supervision and participation in politics, and their performance of functions also carries the heavy responsibility of gathering consensus to adapt to the new mission of the new era.

什么是CPPCC？

中国人民政治协商会议是中国人民的爱国统一战线组织，是中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商的重要机制。是我国政治生活中，发扬社会主义民主的重要形式。人民政协的两大主题是团结和民主。

其中，政协委员是组织主体。他们的主要职能是政治协商、民主监督、参政议政，其在履行职能的同时也肩负着适应新时代新使命凝聚共识的重任。除此之外，他们也要针对其新的使命和新的任务，促进达成协议。
