西汉初年，边关战事吃紧。辛追之子利豨欲参军卫国。不料，却遭母亲反对，母子不欢而散。辛追满腹心事，进入梦境。梦中，丈夫利苍出现，劝导辛追。梦醒，辛追决心秉承夫志，送子出征。

In the early Western Han Dynasty, the war at the border was very tense. Lixi, the son of Xinzhui, decided to join the army to protect his country. However, his decision was violently opposed by his mother, and led to a falling-out. Worried and depressed, Xinzhui fell asleep in a trance. In her dream, Li Cang, her husband, appeared and tried to persuade her to support their son. When she woke up, Xinzhui resolved to follow her husband's wish, and finally sent her son off to war.
