Interview with the overseas Chinese talents

日前，2024世界名校博士长沙行活动举行。来自哈佛大学、牛津大学等10余所海内外知名高校的近40名博士受邀参加，其中8名海外博士与相关单位达成合作意向。

From July 29 to 31, the 2024 World Top University PhDs’ Visit to Changsha event was successfully held. Nearly 40 PhDs from more than 10 renowned universities at home and abroad, including Harvard University and the University of Oxford, were invited to participate, and eight of them have reached cooperation intentions with relevant institutions and organizations.

活动期间，博士们考察了长沙代表性企业与平台，增进对长沙产业发展、科研环境等情况的了解。他们表示，此次参访，充分感受到长沙尊重人才、渴求人才的浓厚氛围。

During the event, these talents visited some representative enterprises and platforms in Changsha, gaining more understanding of the city's industrial development, its research environment and so on. They expressed that this visit allowed them to fully feel Changsha's strong atmosphere of seeking and respecting talents.

湖南省侨联党组书记、副主席孙民生指出，各位博士国际视野开阔、人脉资源丰富，是宣传推介湖南的“金话筒”。希望大家坚定在中国、在湖南发展的信心，把目光聚焦在湖南，把力量投放在湖南。

Sun Minsheng, secretary of the leading Party members group and vice chairman of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, pointed out that these visiting doctors possess broad international perspectives and rich human resources, making them a “perfect spokesperson” to promote Hunan. He hopes that they can strengthen their confidence in developing their carrers in China, particularly in Hunan. Their attention and efforts are warmly welcome in Hunan.
