有一种“花”并非绽放在夜空中，也不生长在泥土里，而是在两亿多年前就开始蓄力盛开，由地质运动、沧桑巨变自然形成于岩石中，它就是浏阳菊花石。

There is a type of "flower" that doesn't blossom in the night sky or grow in the soil. Instead, it began to accumulate energy to bloom over two hundred million years ago, naturally forming within rocks through geological movements and profound changes - it is the Liuyang Chrysanthemum Stone.

浏阳永和镇以其产出的菊花石而闻名，被尊称为“中国菊花石之乡”。这种奇异的石头由天青石或方解石矿物组成花瓣，其花蕊由燧石构成，仿若自然中怒放的菊花，因而得名“菊花石”。菊花石的花朵大小不一，一般为5～8cm，纹理清晰、分界明确、花形各异。

The Yonghe Town in Liuyang City is renowned for producing Chrysanthemum Stones, earning the title of "The hometown of China Chrysanthemum Stone." Composed of Celestine or calcite minerals, these peculiar stones form petals, with flint creating the flower's center, resembling a blossoming chrysanthemum, hence earning the name "Chrysanthemum Stone." Typically, the "flower" sizes are from 5 to 8 cm, with clear textures, distinct boundaries, and diverse shapes.

“石”因奇而美，“雕”因巧而珍。浏阳菊花石的雕刻工艺源远流长，已有200多年的历史。当地的石雕艺人利用石料的天然纹路，经过采料、选料、开花、造型、设计、雕刻、上漆封蜡、制座底等多个环节，使隐藏在石材中的“菊花”得以绽放。

"Stone" is exquisite for its uniqueness and "carving" is precious for its skill. Liuyang Chrysanthemum Stone carving is an ancient craft with over 200 years of history. Local stone carving artisans utilize the natural patterns of the stone, going through processes such as material collection, selection, carving, shaping, designing, painting, waxing, and making the base of the pedestal, etc. The "Chrysanthemums Stone" is finally able to blossom.

1915年，我国首位菊花石雕工艺美术大师戴清升雕刻的作品在巴拿马万国博览会上获得金奖，让“石头能开花”的奇迹自此传遍世界。现今的浏阳菊花石雕随着传承与创新不仅品类繁多，畅销全国，还远销海外。各类重要与会场所，都能见到它的身影。浏阳菊花石雕就如同烟花一般，在世界文化的天空中绽放光彩。

In 1915, China's first chrysanthemum stone carving master Dai Qingsheng's carvings won the gold medal at the Panama Pacific International Exposition, making the miracle of "stones blooming flowers" resound all over the world. Through continuous inheritance and innovation, contemporary Liuyang Chrysanthemum Stone carving boasts a wide range of products, selling well across China and even internationally. Its presence is seen in various significant venues.  Liuyang Chrysanthemum Stone carvings are like Liuyang fireworks, blooming in the sky of world culture.
