娄底双峰，地处湘中丘陵地带，田块窄小、坎高土薄，每逢农忙，农户都叫苦不迭。如今，却是劳而不累，忙而有序，这正是得益于当地农业机械产业的蓬勃发展，让农户有“机”可用。

Shuangfeng County of Loudi City is located in the hilly area of central Hunan. It has narrow parcels of field with high-raised paths through fields and thin soil layers, which makes the farmers complaining whenever the busy farming season. However, now they are working without being fatigued, and busy in order. This is benefit from the local booming agricultural machinery industry that offers suitable equipment to farmers.

上世纪九十年代，一批懂技术、懂市场的人，纷纷合伙办厂，一时间小农机作坊遍地开花。后经政府引导和市场洗礼，小作坊蝶变成现代化规模企业，一批细分领域的行业先锋崭露头角，“顶流”气质初显。

In the 1990s, a group of people who  knew about technologies and the market cooperated to set up factories. As a result, small agricultural machinery workshops sprouted up everywhere at the time. Under the guidance of the government and selection of the market, these workshops have gone a metamorphosis and become modern enterprises. Several industry pioneers in subdivided fields emerged and showed their "top-notch" strength.

双峰小农机主攻丘陵山区，力求“轻便、适用、实惠”，价格普遍低于同类产品，涵盖水稻生产全过程，以及畜牧养殖、农用运输、农产品加工等领域，共60余类300多个品种。碾米机、旋耕机、收割机……“爆款”频出、供不应求。因而，双峰也被誉为“中国农业机械之乡”“中国碾米机械之乡”。

Shuangfeng’s agricultural machinery mainly applies to hilly and mountainous areas, striving to be "light, functional, and affordable". With a generally lower price than similar products, the machinery can be used throughout the process of rice production and covers many fields, including livestock breeding, farm transportation, and agricultural product processing, etc. with a total of more than 300 varieties in over 60 categories. Rice mills, rotary cultivators, and harvesters, etc. Such “top-selling items” are constantly produced whose supplies fall short of the demands. Therefore, Shuangfeng is also known as the "Home of Agricultural Machinery in China" and “Home of Rice Mill Machine in China”.

在苦练“内功”的同时，双峰农机也在积极地“走出去”。据官方数据统计，今年1至9月，双峰农机出口货值约1.079亿元，同比增长24.1%。随着湘粤非铁海联运通道及广东、浙江海运的陆续开通，双峰农机出口印度、尼泊尔、老挝、印度尼西亚、乌干达、尼日利亚等国家，成功走出国门、走向世界。

While strengthening its inner strength, Shuangfeng is also actively going global. The official statistics show that, in 2023, from January to September, Shuangfeng’s agricultural machinery export amounted to around 107.9 million yuan, up 24.1% year-on-year. With the successive opening of Hunan-Guangdong-Africa Rail-Sea Express Train and Guangdong-Zhejiang Sea Transportation, Shuangfeng’s agricultural machinery has stepped into partner countries, mainly involved India, Nepal, Laos, Indonesia, Uganda, Nigeria, etc. and marched forward the wider world.
